Quinta Magnólia cannot be considered a beach but it is undoubtedly one of the most pleasant outdoor leisure spaces in Funchal. This green lung of the capital offers a swimming pool for adults and a large children’s pool, tennis courts, squash court, mini-golf, running track, kindergarten… all within a huge botanical garden.
The swimming pools occupy a central area. With a large solarium and the terrace of the snack bar next to the pool, this is one of the most crowded areas of the garden during the summer months.
Among the many facilities available you will find changing rooms, lockers, parasols, sun beds and free parking space. Two lifeguards are watching over the safety of the guests. |
