Rua da Carreira

Initially a suburban area with a predominance of agricultural properties, this street suffered several changes with the time passing by but kept many of its original buildings with architectural elements from the 17^th, 18^th and 19^th century.

Many famous personalities, from painters to writers, from journalists to politicians, lived once in this street. Today you will find here many nice shops and some popular restaurants.
