Câmara de Lobos
Câmara de Lobos was named after the monk seals (in Portuguese: Lobos marinhos) that lived in this bay when Madeira was first discovered. This fishing village (now a town) was immortalized by Winston Churchill by his watercolour paintings. It is also famous for its nightlife, especially at the weekend.
