Santana - Rocha do Navio Cable Car

The Cable Car at Rocha do Navio is located north coast of Santana, this five-minute trip down to the Fajã da Rocha do Navio is breathtaking, here you will find vineyards, banana plantations and one of Madeira’s protected Natural Reserve Rocha do Navio.

This cable car was built in 1997 mainly for local farmers to better access their land plantations. Today the “Teleférico da Rocha do Navio” ” is opened to visitors to explorer and experience its beautiful landscape and nature.
