Watch Avenida Arriaga from east to west on this live webcam streaming from The Ritz Madeira, one of the most important and historic arteries of Funchal, Madeira Island.

This cafe and restaurant, located right across the Municipal Garden and very close to the Teatro Baltazar Dias, offers its customers an open-air esplanade, where they may enjoy a delicious meal or a drink while listening to good music.

Many of Madeira's year-round festivities can be seen here, such as the famous Madeira Carnival, the Flower Festival, where flower carpets are assembled and displayed, and the Christmas Festivities, which include music and entertainment, food and drink stalls along the Avenue.

You can also see the lovely Jacaranda trees along Avenida Arriaga, which bloom every year in April-May and fill the avenue with their beautiful scented flowers.
