Melon Lda. has been promoting Madeira and Porto Santo islands for 20 years, since 1997. Our offices are located on Av. Arriaga, the main street of downtown Funchal, the capital, next to the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias.

Our team publishes and manages the Madeira promotional guides Madeira Web, Madeira Live, Madeira Portugal, Madeira Tourist and Porto Santo. These multilingual guides have a daily readership of around 30,000 people and are on page one of search engines in more than 100 countries. We also manage a number of live webcams around the island.

Melon Lda. can provide images, videos and other promotional material to international publications for the purpose of promoting Madeira islands.

Our mission/purpose is to promote our green island internationally as a clean, pollution-free and safe holiday destination, where it’s always summer.

Madeira-web.com has been taken over by Webcamtaxi USA and will be developed as tourist guide with live streaming cams geographically covering the highlights of this paradise island. Madeira Island was chosen for its striking scenery, mountains, sea, lush vegetation and year-round sunny climate.
Webcamtaxi chose Madeira as a model to present to other tourist bureaus, particularly those in the United States, to demonstrate our latest live streaming technology. Our latest live streaming cams are the most cost effective means of promoting a tourist destination internationally.
Melon Lda, based in Madeira, and its staff will continue to manage the written content of madeira-web.com.
Webcamtaxi provides and owns all live streaming cameras, which are managed from our US office.
