Book Presentation “Açores Em Cores”

Igor Lopes' book launch event, 'Açores Em Cores', will take place on the beautiful island of Madeira.

On Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 18:30, the House of the Azores in Madeira, Funchal, will host an event featuring Luso-Brazilian journalist and writer Igor Lopes, who will present his latest book, "Açores em Cores - Belezas, Contornos e Potencialidades" (English: Azores in Colours: Beauties, Outlines, and Potentials), alongside Carlos Costa, President of the institution.

This collaborative initiative with ADNM (Associação Diáspora no Mundo) will include a 226-page publication with interviews and captivating photographs, resulting from two years of research. According to Lopes, the book provides essential insights into the nine Azorean islands, appealing not only to Brazilians, Luso-descendants, and Azorean-descendants, but also highlighting the islands as fantastic places to live, work, invest, study, or simply revel in their stunning beauty.
