• Ferraris for all tastes in Madeira

The island of Madeira will welcome this Friday and until the 25th of April, a group of owners with their dozens of top-of-the-range 'Ferrari' cars, who will visit the Pearl of the Atlantic for the first time.

The initiative is from the 'Ferrari Owners Club Portugal', which has chosen to send its members with their 'bombs' to the World's Best Island Destination, so that together they can explore the beautiful roads of the island.

The initiative already has an established itinerary, "the cars of the Italian brand will drive from Funchal to Cabo Girão, from Ribeira Brava to Paul da Serra, from Ponta do Pargo to Calheta, from Encumeada to Santana, passing through Ponta Delgada and São Vicente, Faial and Terreiro da Luta", reveals JM.

The emblematic machines will be on display at the Largo do Município and Avenida Sá Carneiro, in Funchal and in the centre of Calheta. "There will also be time to visit Machico, Porto da Cruz and Santo da Serra. The event, managed to convince "about two dozen elements of the 'Ferrari Owners Club Portugal', among them the owner of the only 'LaFerrari` model currently in Portugal".

The president of Ferrari Owners says there is already "a lot of enthusiasm from the group". Paulo Rozeira, told JM that "the event requires a significant effort on the part of the participants and much more difficult logistics than usual, due to transport". But even so, the leader has shown his "enthusiasm" for the initiative, and "believes that Madeirans and tourists who are on the island will enjoy the different moments".

The rally of Ferraris on Madeira Island is supported by the APM and the Funchal City Council, with the Socicorreia Group as the main sponsor, and includes partnerships with the Regional Government, the Funchal City Council, the Sousa Group, the Savoy Signature Group and the Madeira Sports Club.
