This year's edition of the 'III Tourism Padel Tournament' will be integrated in an 'Outdoor Day' event to be held by APAVT on the 20th of October in Lisbon.
The Portuguese Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism (APAVT), will hold its 1st "Outdoor Day", an event that aims to provide its members and partners "an informal day of conviviality, outdoors, with a barbecue and a lot of good mood", as stated in Publituris.
According to that publication, "the Padel Tournament, which this year, besides the already traditional support from Madeira Tourism, SGS Insurance and Click and Play, also counts on the partnership of tour operators Solférias, Sonhando and Soltrópico, will start at 12h00, continuing until 17h00, time when the barbecue will start, which will last until 20h00".
There will be 22 pairs competing, "all made up of tourism professionals, including travel agents, hoteliers and other partners" and "in between, there will be padel clinics for those who want to try this sport, with the participation of a group of young people from the Johnson Academy, an organisation that APAVT has been supporting, under its Social Responsibility policy, and to whom part of the revenue from the event reverts".
"This is a day to unwind from the hard work we are all having. We deserve a moment like this. You can even try padel, but don't miss out on the socialising, the barbecue and the beer", appeals the executive director of APAVT, Ricardo Figueiredo.
