The 'aRRebITA' has once again won international awards and is now considered one of the best ciders in the world.

The Sidraria dos Prazeres is a solidarity economy factory based on fair trade principles, managed by a priest who produces one of the best ciders in the world. It has been consistently winning awards and has become a true international success. After being awarded gold and silver medals in Germany and the United States of America, it has now won a gold and a bronze medal (in separate categories) at one of the most prestigious competitions in the world, the International Cider Challenge, which holds blind tastings.

According to Father Rui Sousa, who is responsible for the company "Mistérios da Quinta" that manufactures the famous 'aRRebITA' cider at "Sidraria dos Prazeres," this cider promotes sustainable and ecological agriculture since its productions aim to protect the wild apple species of Madeira Island without adding chemicals, preservatives, or carbonation agents.

Harvested from the finest orchards of this volcanic Atlantic Island, the apples are then carefully processed and aged in barrels that were once used for Madeira wine, which gives them an extraordinary flavour in addition to an appealing appearance with a clear, straw-like colour and a well-balanced aroma.
