The city of Funchal, on the island of Madeira, will host a powerful demonstration in support of the Palestinian people on April 3rd at 19:00. This event, taking place at the City Gates (Portas da Cidade) in Largo dos Varadouros, is jointly promoted by the União de Sindicatos da Madeira (USAM), the Portuguese Committee for Peace and Co-operation (CPPC), and the "Noise" project, which symbolises hope and unity.
The demonstration in Funchal aims to amplify the voices calling for an end to violence and a path towards a just and lasting peace. Participants will come together to demand an immediate ceasefire and the implementation of UN resolutions that could pave the way for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Gaza, Palestine.
The organisers extend an open invitation to the general public, encouraging everyone to participate in this act of solidarity. Standing together, the participants will send a powerful message of support for the noble pursuit of peace and justice for Palestinians.
