The Port of Funchal registers today a new premiere with the passage of another Royal Carribean ship which visits the Best Island Destination in the World.
The 'Enchantment of the Seas' is the great novelty in the bay of the capital of Madeira, and brings on board 2,151 passengers and 901 crew. The ship comes from New York, where it left eight days ago and after its stay in Funchal, it will continue to Malaga. Afterwards, it will visit two French ports before ending its trip in Rome.
Keeping the (slender) Enchantment of the Seas company is the cruise ship 'Costa Fortuna' which will be sailing until the end of June between Madeira and the Canary Islands, passing through some Mediterranean cities. The ship, which carries 434 passengers and 828 crew members, is scheduled to make three more calls at the port of Funchal. Coming from Tenerife, it heads to Barcelona at 6pm this Monday.
