The ship 'Costa Fortuna' is back at the Port of Funchal and arrived this morning, bringing on board more than 2,000 people.
In total, 1.296 passengers and 891 crew members arrived this morning in Funchal aboard the ship, which is making a 14-day cruise that started on June 8 in Barcelona with stops in Marseille, Savona, Rome, Malaga, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, and Funchal. This trip ends with the return of the Costa Fortuna to Barcelona, the destination to which it is heading from Funchal, with its departure scheduled for 18:00 this afternoon.
The ship is thus preparing to start a new circuit of Mediterranean routes, which will bring it back to the Port of Funchal on September 25, coinciding with the beginning of the high season when the Madeiran port becomes very popular.
