Christmas is just around the corner and as such, there are many suggestions all over Madeira Island and for that reason we are keen to share them with you.
There are timeless Christmas songs such as White Christmas, Jingle Bells & Let It Snow! These and other musical themes you will be able to hear and watch through an open-air concert, an event that will be in charge of the "Joves Band", which will take place on December 18th at São Tiago Fortress, in the city of Funchal.
According to the band, which has prepared a repertoire totally inspired by Christmas songs, "aims to celebrate one of the most wonderful times of the year" without this being "an opportunity for all our group to get together and do what we like most, which is to share with you our love for music", says the Joves Band.
Featured performers include Slobodan Sarcevic on the accordion and Francisco Aguilar on the saxophone. Joining the band's resident members are Paulo Barros on trumpet, Rodolfo Cró on guitar, Miguel Marques on contrabass, and Pedro Temtem on percussion. Plus, an unexpected surprise guest!
