The 'Bom Para a Madeira Festival' shall be held next Sunday, June 4th, at Praça do Povo, in Funchal, with two stages of musical entertainment and several food and beverage stalls.
This promises to be a great event in the city of Funchal, as the two big stages that will receive several artists are already being assembled, in an enclosure where there will be 13 companies moving from mainland Portugal to set up their food and drink stalls in Madeira Island.
The Festival is being promoted by the supermarket chain 'Continente', and according to the organization, everything is being prepared for a great musical and gastronomic party, in a place of free access to the public, practically in the same place and simultaneously with another great event, the 'Arraial das Casas do Povo' which starts tomorrow, June 1st (see article beside).
Still in relation to the Bom Para a Madeira Festival, it should be noted that the event also counts on being the "stage" to make a little better known the approximately 80 producers who work with Continente supermarkets, among them, a universe of around 600 regional products.
The fair will have several moments related to showcooking, with the presence of several renowned chefs, who will present various dishes and ways of cooking typical regional dishes, where tuna and black scabbardfish are naturally the "stars" and as such, cannot miss the tasting table of the general public.
