Funchal Town Square (Praça do Município) will host, between November 25, 2023 and January 6, 2024, the famous 'Christmas Village', for the general public, but with special attention to the younger ones, in a Christmas atmosphere that every year brings together many families and tourists in Praça do Município.
The eagerly awaited Christmas Village for this year's edition is gearing up to delight visitors for an extended period, offering a fantastic lineup of activities spanning 42 days of festive entertainment. Marking the grand start, Santa Claus himself is set to make a joyous arrival on November 25th, kicking off the season's celebrations with his merry presence and cheer.
Another attraction of the Christmas Village is the train, which will allow children to travel all around the enclosure, in the close company of their parents. There will also be various activities and enchanting magic shows. The traditional Madeiran artisans will also be able to exhibit and demonstrate their craftwork.
