Jane Monheit performs on Madeira Island

Once again, the renowned American singer Jane Monheit graces Madeira Island with her presence, promising another unforgettable jazz concert on Thursday, September 28th, at 19:00.

Jane Monheit is considered one of the most relevant singers in the contemporary world of Jazz, with a voice cherished by the most demanding jazz lovers. She is an artist with a very own style, sometimes compared to Ella Fitzgerald, one of the queens of jazz.

The concert takes place on Thursday, September 28, at the Madeira Congress Centre in Funchal and is promoted by Club Vespas (Madeira's largest nightclub), whose owner is a great fan of this musical genre.

Born in New York, Jane Monheit is travelling to Madeira accompanied by a fantastic trio composed of Martin Sasse (piano), Martin Gjakonovski (double bass), and Vladimir Kostadinovic (drums), thus bringing together all the ingredients to provide the audience with a truly memorable evening.

The concert starts at 19:00, tickets cost € 25.00, and tickets can be purchased at various points in the city of Funchal, namely at the tobacconist "A Cabana", next to the Municipal Garden.
