The Madeira Flower Classic Auto Parade sponsored by the Classic Motor Exhibition Association (ACME) and Clube Carocha da Madeira will be held on the 12th May as part of the Flower Festival celebrations.
The event includes several classic vehicles, including motorcycles, which will be driven through Funchal via Praça da Autonomia, Avenida do Mar e das Comunidades Madeirenses to the Av Sá Carneiro, where they will all go on display. The parade will be accompanied by live music and costumed supporters, whose costumes have been inspired and themed to compliment the flowers of Madeira.
This year’s organisers hope to recreate a retrospective feel, reminiscent of the parade that was held in Funchal during the 1980’s.
