Madeira Island has once again won the award for "Best Island Destination in the World 2022" for the eighth consecutive time, an award recognised by the prestigious "World Travel Awards".
The awards gala is being held this Friday afternoon, November 11, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Muscat, Oman. This is an important award as a result of the international recognition of those who visit this Atlantic island, both for the quality of services and the excellence of the preservation of its unique natural beauty, a continuous work that has been developed by regional entities and the population in general in recent decades.
We recall that since 2015 Madeira has been consecutively elected "The Best" of all the islands, dethroning destinations such as Bora-Bora, Barbados, Hawaii, Caribbean, Maldives Sardinia and Seychelles, for example.
