• Ryanair grows 12% compared to last year

Ryanair carried 168.6 million passengers in March, an increase of 74% compared to the same period last year, when the total number of passengers was 97 million.

The Irish company, Ryanair, "carried 12.6 million passengers in March, an increase of 12% compared to March 2022, when the airline had carried 11.2 million passengers, at a time when the beginning of the war in Ukraine negatively affected the carrier's traffic", the carrier adds.

According to the low-cost company, "in March 2023, Ryanair also reached a load factor of 93% in the 71,350 flights operated, which is also 6% higher than in the same month in 2022, when this indicator stood at 87%".

Ryanair's flight occupancy also recorded an improvement, in the order of 11%, as it registered 93% occupancy, whereas in the same period of 2022, this figure had been 82%, the company said.
