• ´Star Wars` was two weeks filming in Madeira

The recordings of the Star Wars series "The Acolyte", whose filming took place in several locations in Madeira Island, are over.

They were "long and intense days of work", and "all the staff and equipment left the Region last Tuesday, "with a feeling of duty done", says a local newspaper.

The mega-production "landed" on the island of Madeira last March 12, by charter flight, with dozens of people linked to the production team, among them, the actors who joined the remaining team days later.

"After having generated a great frenzy all over the island, the recordings of the Star Wars series 'The Acolyte' have really come to an end, and now the world is waiting for the premiere, which will once again make the Region enter the four corners of the world, through the images captured in various locations from north to south of the island, namely Caniçal, Fanal, Ribeira da Janela and Porto Moniz," concludes the JM article.
