• Paul do Mar

Paul do Mar is one of the most important fishing centres of the archipelago. The ocean provides this parish with an incredibly rich variety of fish, to such an extent that it has become a reference in the world of gastronomy.

Until the late 1960s you could only access this fishing village by boat and for the next thirty years the only way to go down there was very slowly and carefully on a dangerous road. Fortunately the new road did not do any damage to the romantic aspect of the village and everywhere you go you can be sure to find peace, authenticity and tranquillity.

Going out of Paul do Mar through one of its three tunnels, you leave behind a paradise that you will never forget.
