The swimming complex at the mouth of Ribeira do Faial in Santana municipality, includes a protected pebble beach, a children’s pool and play area as well as a restaurant, changing rooms, first-aid services and vast sunbathing areas. It also has a sand playing field, which meets the requirements for national and international football, handball and volleyball competitions as well as a multi-purpose pavilion for other activities.
Near this beach, there is also a karting track for motor sports fans.
