This live webcam shows incredible views of the world-famous natural lava pools of Porto Moniz and the Atlantic Ocean, streaming from the rooftop of the modern Hotel Aqua Natura Madeira, located in the heart of Porto Moniz, a small and charming town on the northwest coast of Madeira Island.
The Porto Moniz bathing complex provides excellent water quality, good facilities, changing rooms with lockers, a playground, a first aid station, rentable sun loungers and parasols, lifeguards on duty at all times, parking, a snack bar, and facilities for persons with special needs. The Pools are open throughout the year, with summer hours of 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and winter hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The entry fee is €1.50 per entry.
The free access Cachalote natural pools, the Madeira Aquarium, cafes, restaurants, shops, a children's playground, and spectacular views of the ocean can be found along the east side of the oceanfront promenade.
